Quick Tempo has kept his unbeaten run going scoring his fourth win from four starts at Taree.
With Jackson Searle in the saddle for the second time, the apprentice was able to have Quick Tempo travelling smoothly outside the leader and despite racing greenly in the early half of the straight, the pair were able to race clear with 150m to run and score another soft win.
Placed superbly by Minervini Racing, the gelding won two trials before winning a maiden at Mudgee in late August. That was followed by a Class 1 win at Muswellbrook in early October, followed by a BM58 success at Taree and today’s fresh win which rounded out the quartet.
Quick Tempo (by Swettenham Stud stallion Rubick) was a yearling purchase from the Newgate Farm draft at the 2020 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale and is the fifth foal of the Purrealist mare Tawfiq Valley, making the gelding a half-relation to winners Tawfiq Boy and Tawfiq Lass.
Minervini Racing welcomes many new owners into Quick Tempo’s ownership group and we hope they enjoy many more successes, Sao Ho Chan, Mark Minervini, Michelle Minervini, Patrick Moore, Jay Morris, Milt O’Brien, Dean Sullivan, Robbie Waterman.
