Rose of Dubai has signaled that she is a filly with a bright future, easily disposing of her rivals at Newcastle when on debut.
The daughter of the former Group 1 Blue Diamond winner in Pride of Dubai has trialed well leading into her debut run, yet a series of barrier troubles set the team back many weeks, forcing the filly to undergo another set of barrier education before her elusive maiden run.
Sent straight to the front from the wide gate by the in-form Luke Rolls, Rose of Dubai set up a margin on her rivals at the top of the home straight and found again when challenged over the concluding stages.
Rose of Dubai is the first foal to race from the More Than Ready mare Bella Pronto. She was a purchase by Mark Minervini and associates from the Willow Park Stud draft at the 2023 Inglis HTBA Yearling Sale.
Congratulations to her owners Eddy Boas, Greg Carey, Sandra Semmler, Andrew Shalhoub, Nick Shalhoub, Colin Wightman, SYN Dailey RacingĀ (Mgr: Bob Dailey), SYN Lanewood Racing (Mgr: Ian & Jan Devlin), SYN Silver Donut Racing (Mgr: Craig Kirkwood), SYN Minervini Racing (Mgr: Michelle Minervini).
