All Too Hard gelding Bravio has led from start to finish, scoring an emphatic win at Muswellbrook on Friday afternoon.
Claiming apprentice Tom Sherry made his intentions clear from the time the gates opened, firing Bravio to an early lead. Travelling beautifully in front, Bravio was pressured from the 650m, but Sherry kicked through again and held firm. Shaking off the two challengers before the turn, Bravio kicked right away with 200m to run, before Sherry eased his charge down to score a soft win.
Bravio was a purchase from our friends at Baramul Stud, at Magic Millions Adelaide in 2018 and is beautifully-bred, being by Caulfield Guineas winner All Too Hard, out of stakes-placed Encosta de Lago mare Senorita de Lago. Friday’s win was his first, from only six starts and with the gelding only now starting to put it all together, Mark and the team are excited for his prospects as he steps out over more ground.
