Bubbles For Me has made it two wins in a row, with a smart win at Scone.
The daughter of the late Golden Slipper winner Sebring ticked off her maiden at Port Macquarie in late May and entered the Scone assignment full of confidence.
Mikayla Weir had the filly travelling strongly in behind the leaders, before peeling to the middle of the track and holding off a flurry of late challengers.
Bubbles For Me is the third foal of the So You Think mare Not For Me and was a purchase by Mark Minervini from the Kitchwin Hills draft at the 2021 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale– the Scone win takes her stake earnings to over $44,000.
2023 has been a breakout year for Minervini Racing, and Bubbles For Me’s win was our boutique stable’s 22nd for the year – a remarkable effort from a team that caters for a maximum of 16 horses in work!
