Miss Violet has maintained her good run of form with her second win from three starts, this time in work.

The daughter of former Group 1 winner and now Newgate Farm stallion Flying Artie opened her account with a strong maiden win at Taree in early January before a solid placing at Muswellbrook later that month.

Scratched on several occasions due to bad barriers and unsuitable conditions, Ashley Morgan sent Miss Violet straight to the front over the 1000m dash, and the mare was never headed.

Miss Violet was a purchase from the Bowness Stud draft at the 2020 Inglis Scone Yearling Sale.

The Muswellbrook win was her second from eight starts, and she has now amassed just under $40,000 in stakes.

Congratulations to her owners Noeleen Benjes, Shannon Betts, Kerrie Dailey, Bob Dailey, Gary Johnson, Steven Kaddour, Heath McInerney, Mark Minervini, Michelle Minervini, Lisa Morphett, Annie Tappenden, EST Ben Tumsevics, Zaichenko Hill Syndicate (Mgr: Aaron Zaichenko).
