Soobooco has ended a frustrating run of placings by scoring an easy maiden win at Wyong on Tuesday.

The son of the Kitchwin Hills stallion Sooboog had shown Mark and the team a tremendous amount of ability from day one and has furnished into a lovely racehorse since being gelded.

Travelling easily under Jason Collett, Soobooco joined in strongly rounding the turn for home and extended over the concluding stages for a soft win.

Mark and the team are confident that Soobooco will continue to improve with racing and the Wyong win won’t be his last.

Soobooco was a purchase from the Kitchwin Hills draft at the 2021 Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling Sale.

2023 has been a breakout year for Minervini Racing, and Soobooco’s win was our boutique stable’s 24th for the year – a remarkable effort from a team that caters for a maximum of 16 horses in work!
Mark Minervini and his team of Bloodstock Agents have had a busy time sourcing the future of our stable across Australia and New Zealand in the first half of 2023.
There are still several ownership opportunities available in a a range of different styles of yearlings and tried horses at Minervini Racing.
