Media Man has made it two-in-a-row, scoring consecutive Muswellbrook wins.
The son of Vinery Stud stallion Press Statement was the winner of one race from 20 starts at the end of July, however has been able to find a rich vein of form under leading rider Andrew Gibbons, and is now a back-to-back winner.
In what was somewhat of a carbon-copy of his last-start win, Media Man dawdled out of the gates and settled rearward before Gibbons set the gelding alight, circling the field from the 700m and running away for a convincing win.
Media Man was a purchase by Minervini Racing from the Ambergate Stud draft at the 2019 Adelaide Magic Millions and Sunday was his third win, for stake earnings of just over $70,000. Media Man is the younger half-brother to the multiple stakes-winning mare Chaillot (Testa Rossa).
