Stable stalwart Super has extended his incredible run of home track success with another victory at Newcastle Racecourse on Tuesday.
Aaron Bullock made light work of the wide gate, sending Super forward and finding a “super” spot stalking the leaders. The pair moved up stylishly rounding the corner, before racing away for an easy win.
The son of Arrowfield Stud Snitzel holds a special place in the hearts of all at Minervini Racing, having made the journey over from Adelaide, and being a stable constant throughout our time in New South Wales.
The stable veteran was an unraced purchase by Mark Minervini for $22,500 from the 2017 March Inglis Digital Online sale, having been sold for $240,000 at the 2017 Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling Sale earlier that year.
The win was Super’s seventh and takes his stake earnings to over $260,000.
2023 has been a breakout year for Minervini Racing, and Super’s win was our boutique stable’s fifteenth for the year –
a remarkable effort from a team that caters for a maximum of 16 horses in work!
Mark Minervini and his team of Bloodstock Agents have had a busy time sourcing the future of our stable across Australia and New Zealand in the first half of 2023.
