Star Impact has carried on with her love of Newcastle, scoring another runaway win at our home venue.
The daughter of Japanese stallion Mikki Isle (JPN) resumed from a break at Randwick three weeks prior and was just over seven lengths from the winner.
Straight out to the mile for her second-up assignment, Mark engaged leading rider Aaron Bullock; who had combined with Star Impact for three successes from only a handful of rides.
Settling just off the pace, Star Impact travelled sweetly in the run; the pair rounding up their rivals under the arches, running away for an easy win.
Star Impact was a $12,000 tried horse purchase by Mark Minervini from the 2022 Inglis December Online Sale, and the win now takes her stake earnings to just under $200,000.
