As you may be aware I have decided to relocate my horse training business to Strathalbyn in the Adelaide Hills.

The opportunity has come up for me to train from the historic and very beautiful property "Angas Bank".

Angas Bank is a 120 acre property on the edge of the township, the stone homestead and stables were built in circa 1846 and rests on the edge of the Angas river hence the name.

The property was set up in the nineties to agist and pre train horses trained by John Hawkes and owned by the Ingham brothers, the facilities are first class and I am very excited at the possibities this will provide me to get the best out of the horses in my care.

The training facilities include a sand track, treadmill, 8 horse walking machine, individual yards, tie up stalls, stables and paddocks,

It will be a huge advantage to have all of the horses in one location whether they are in training, spelling or rehab, this will allow me to monitor their progress at all times.

Angas Bank will provide the horses with a relaxed and tranquil setting, it is commonly accepted that they perform well from their natural enviroment.

The property will also provide us with a great social setting and we look forward to getting together with our clients, friends and family in the new year. Strathalbyn itself is a very quaint little town 45 minutes drive from Adelaide, it has many cafes, restaurants and is famous for its antique stores.

We expect to be set up and in full swing by Christmas.

I welcome any queries, please call Mark directly on 0417 811 641.

Mark, Michelle and the team at Trackside Racing would like to thankyou for your continued support and wish you a Merry Christmas and a very successful 2013.
