Recent stable addition Got An Inspiration (NZ) scored a runaway win at only his second run for the stable at Newcastle, on the Beaumont track.
The son of Rich Hill Stud (NZ) stallion Vadamos (FR) was purchased cheaply by Minervini Racing in August and quickly settled into Newcastle life, debuting for the stable with a solid placing at the same venue in mid September.
Sent out favourite for the 2130m contest, Grant Buckley had the gelding travelling well throughout, and the pair quickly put their rivals away winning by over two lengths.
Off the back of recent staying success Hosier (IRE), Minervini Racing have bolstered their staying stocks, and whilst Got An Inspiration (NZ) may not reach the same heights on the track as our new stable star, the gelding is more than capable of working his way through the grades and rewarding his new ownership group with further success.
The win was Got An Inspiration’s second from only ten starts and takes his stake earnings to just under $45,000.
Congratulations to the ownership group Grant Boyes, Maureen Dean, Ron Gurr, Janene Howell, Christian Jocumsen, David McManus, Rod Rowlands, Paul Till, Adam Watts, Ross Webb, Steven White, Wungali Racing Syndicate , Dailey Racing Syndicate, Kick On Racing Syndicate, McWoodLeod Racing Syndicate, Minervini Racing Pty Ltd Syndicate and the Fun Forwhite Syndicate.
