Powerful racemare Mimiele recorded her first city win when she led all the way to score in the Dominant Handicap for mares over 1540 metres at Morphettville today.
Aided by a brilliant front running ride by the "Maritian Magician" Dominic Tourneur Mimiele looked to have her rivals covered a long way out to record a deserved victory.
Mimele is raced by Richard Zachariah his partner Sarah Hyde and AFL Port Power board member Nick House and his wife Kath, Mimiele is by Barely A Moment from the Bellotto (USA) mare Our Fame.
Barely A Moment stands at Cornerstone Stud in the Barossa Valley and his progeny are enjoying a great run of success recently, Mimiele will have one more run this preparation and her target will be the Listed Christmas Handicap after a short break.
