Fire And Ice has rounded out a top week for Minervini Racing, scoring his second win at Wyong on Thursday.

The now gelded son of the former star Group 1 sprinter and now Yarraman Park stallion Hellbent, has always been a galloper with a touch of quality and the win was reward for the team’s patience.

Aaron Bullock; who scored his third win for Minervini Racing in a week had Fire And Ice cantering in behind the leaders and once the field turned for home, the leading rider gave the gelding a squeeze and he raced clear.

Fire And Ice was a purchase by Mark Minervini from the Kitchwin Hills draft at the 2021 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale. His dam; Cersei is out of our former star mare Vormista, who is fondly remembered by all at Minervini Racing.

Thursday’s win was Fire And Ice’s second, with stake earnings over $106,000.

2023 has been a breakout year for Minervini Racing, and Fire And Ice’s win was our boutique stable’s seventeenth for the year –
a remarkable effort from a team that caters for a maximum of 16 horses in work!

Mark Minervini and his team of Bloodstock Agents have had a busy time sourcing the future of our stable across Australia and New Zealand in the first half of 2023.
There are still several ownership opportunities available in a a range of different styles of yearlings and tried horses at Minervini Racing.
