4YO mare So Sassy has broken through for a well-deserved maiden win at Mudgee.
The daughter of former superstar and now Coolmore stallion So You Think had been in consistent form this time in work with a placing at Newcastle and solid effort at Gosford, in a stronger maiden three weeks prior.
Ashley Morgan positioned So Sassy close to the speed at Mudgee and the pair raced away for a convincing win over the 1100m.
So Sassy is out of the Choisir mare Daytime, and was a purchase from our friends at Corumbene Stud at the 2019 Gold Coast Magic Millions Sale.
The maiden win was her first, from 11 starts and takes her earnings to a tick over $28,000.
