Miss Violet has had little trouble graduating to provincial grade, showing her rivals a clear pair of heels at Wyong, and scoring her third win this time in work.
The daughter of Newgate Farm stallion Flying Artie utilized her inside gate, and was driven through to the lead by regular rider Ash Morgan, and despite multiple challengers, the pair were never headed, flying through the 1000 metres in 57.18 seconds.
Miss Violet was an astute $11,000 purchase from the Bowness Stud draft at the 2020 Inglis Scone Yearling Sale.
The Wyong win was her third from nine career starts, and she has now amassed just under $60,000 in stakes.
Congratulations to her owners Noeleen Benjes, Shannon Betts, Bob & Kerrie Dailey, Gary Johnson, Steven Kaddour, Heath McInerney, Mark & Michelle Minervini, Lisa Morphett, Annie Tappenden, EST Ben Tumsevics and Zaichenko Hill Syndicate (Mgr: Aaron Zaichenko).
