Star Impact has returned to the winner’s stall with a dominant win on our home track on Saturday afternoon.
The daughter of the Deep Impact stallion Mikki Isle (JPN) returned for her current campaign in December of last year and had been racing consistently without winning.
Team Minervini called on the services of leading rider Aaron Bullock, and the pair travelled beautifully worse than midfield before unleashing a winning run down the middle of the track and scoring an easy win.
Star Impact was a $12,000 tried horse purchase from the 2022 December Inglis Online Sale and the win now takes her stake earnings to over $150,000.
